Hubert Vo, first Vietnamese American in the Texas State Legislature, up for reelection in 2006

Houtopia remind us that Democrat Hubert Vo, a businessman who defeated Republican House Appropriations Chair Talmadge Heflin in 2004 to become Texas's first Vietnamese state legislator, is up for reelection this year:

The 149th district becomes more demographically favorable for Hubert every day, and he has acquitted himself as a committed, hardworking member for his constituents in his freshman term. That said, this race won't be easy folks. Hubert needs your help too.
