Friends in Hawaii? Please tell them to vote for Daniel Akaka for US Senator in the Democratic primary this Saturday. As we've noted here before, Akaka was one of only 23 US Senators who voted against the war in Iraq. Now he's running against a pro-war Democrat who has said that Akaka's vote against the war was a "mistake at the time."
Support the man who did the right thing when it wasn't popular and who will continue to do the right thing during his next term in the Senate. Vote Akaka.
