FBI still hasn't seized Foley's computer

Unbelievable. From ABC's The Blotter:

Despite the fact that Foley's attorney has said Foley admits to sending the "totally inappropriate" e-mails and IMs, the FBI has still not seized his computer and hard drive.

"Mark has absolutely agreed on his own and with our counsel not to do anything with any computer, not to delete any messages, not to obliterate or attempt to obliterate any IMs, e-mails, Internet communications," said Roth.

The FBI confirmed today that it has not drawn up a search warrant for the equipment because the investigation is still preliminary, and they are still examining the messages they've obtained so far.

Feel free to ask your Congressperson what on earth is going on here and if he or she has yet called for the resignation of Dennis Hastert and every other politician involved in this scandal -- in particular, Republican Congressmen Boehner, Reynolds, and Shimkus.

And then feel free to consider donating to the campaigns of John Laesch, the Democrat running against Dennis Hastert; Dan Stover, the Democrat running against John Shimkus; Mort Meier, the Democrat running against John Boehner; and Jack Davis, the Democrat running against Tom Reynolds. And, of course, Tim Mahoney, the Democrat running for Foley's seat. And, last but definitely not least, Tammy Duckworth, the Asian American Iraq War veteran congressional candidate who's had the guts to call out the Republican congressional leaders from her home state of Illinois for their cover up in the Foley case.
