Last minute voter registration chances in a few states

Voter registration deadlines have passed in most states. But there's still time in a few states -- for example, if you can find a place that will postmark a letter for you today, you still have a shot in Connecticut. Here's the list of remaining deadlines, from RockTheVote.org:
Alabama -- (receive by) 10/27
Connecticut -- (postmarked by) 10/24
Iowa -- (receive by) 10/28
Nebraska -- (in person) 10/27
New Hampshire -- (receive by) 10/28
Utah -- (in person) 10/25 and 10/28
Vermont -- (receive by) 10/30
Also, a few states have Election Day Registration, meaning, yes, you can register on Election Day, so no excuses if you live in:
Idaho, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
This is a critical election, friends. Even if you're in a state where there's no high-profile national races, Democrats may stand to gain seats in your area on the local or state level, which can be absolutely critical -- Sam Yoon fighting the voter ID proposal in Boston is just one example of why voting for Democrats on a local level is critical. So register to vote before it's too late.
