Inouye votes the right way on immunity

Earlier in the week, Senator Daniel Inouye sided with the Republicans and against the rule of law by voting to uphold immunity to telecoms for illegal, warrantless wiretapping. But yesterday, Senator Inouye voted with the Democratic majority to support Senator Christopher Dodd's filibuster against the bill that included the immunity provisions. Kudos to Senator Inouye for seeing the light on this issue -- and thumbs up to everyone who called his office to encourage this turnaround.
